OUR STORY
OUR STORY
In 2010 Jack started growing a few basic crops on a modest allotment sized piece of land in a village not far from Whitstable, Kent. Interested in leading a low impact and healthy lifestyle, and wanting to be apart of a solution and not a problem, he became enthused and motivated to grow nutritious and delicious food to make available for all.
A few months into this journey some chickens and ducks found their way onto the patch and the stage was set! A year later Jack was producing tasty fruit & veg, and delivering 15+ veg boxes a week to local households.
In 2013 Jack took a leap of faith and started a market garden/micro farm on an area less than 2 acres of leased land. We now grow more than 50+ different types of seasonal fruit & veg, herbs, edible flowers, gourmet mushrooms and micro salads.
Our mission is simple, we want to provide members of the public direct access to natures best offerings. We believe it's everyone right to know exactly how food is grown and produced. Everyone should have access to fairly priced seasonal and nutritious foods grown free from any nasties and GM. Whether you are a family, student, couple or living single, a weekly veg bag really is the simplest and easiest way to get fresh produce direct into your home.
All the produce is grown to Jack's own regenerative bespoke standards, with the minimal amount of handling, processing and packaging. Our systems build soil and regenerate the land, leaving it better off than before we found it. Regenerative farms allow for more wildlife than conventional farm land management.
